ABOUT JILL

Jill Faber is a certified School Counselor and Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, working in a variety of capacities to help students unlock their fullest potential.

 

Jill earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development from Cornell University and a Master's in School Counseling from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. In 2022, she completed her doctoral degree in education with a focus on college and career counseling programs.

 

Jill works as a college consultant, academic coach, and adjunct instructor at a local SUNY University. Before leaving to pursue college counseling full-time, Jill worked as a Long Island public school counselor. Jill has also worked for a boutique test prep company, helping students prepare for SAT and ACT exams.

Jill's young energy coupled with her depth and breadth of experience in college admissions enable her to provide exceptional coaching and counseling. She takes a warm yet demanding approach, building relationships with students and families to help them navigate the college process. Jill prides herself in her ability to connect with her students.

When she is not working with students, Jill enjoys running, cooking, and taking walks with her baby Ethan and dog Shea!
